NSC is turning 20 and we’re throwing one helluva party!
To celebrate two decades, we’re rolling out 20 Gigs for 20 Years — a huge birthday series running through July and August, stacked with some of our all-time favourites.
In 2019 we hosted Briggs to launch his single 'Life is Incredible', and it'll come as a surprise to no one, that the show was also incredible. We're stoked to be welcoming him back to the NSC stage, as part of our 20th Birthday celebrations, for the epic debut of his new heavy project, BIG NOTER.
Iconic Australian rapper Briggs trades Hip-Hop beats for giant riffage in all new project BIG NOTER. Tapping into his hard-core, punk and metal roots with a full band in tow, BIG NOTER is a sonic shift to the heavy sounds the proud Yorta-Yorta/Wurundjeri/Wemba-Wemba man grew up on.
Working with acclaimed engineer & producer Nick Didia (RATM, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen), BIG NOTER released their first single ‘Identity’ in April before debuting their live show to sold out rooms in Melbourne & Sydney, supporting legendary Rage Against The Machine guitarist and Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, Tom Morello on his most recent Australian tour.
With huge tour announcements and a debut album on the way, do not miss BIG NOTER's first ever headline show at Northcote Social Club this August, with special guests to be announced.
