Kick those Monday blues to the curb at Social Sanctuary – your weekly night of free live music at NSC. We've lined up a stellar roster of your fave local artists and some exciting new talents breezing through town!
This week feelings, Astari and Jac Donnelly are stopping by for a show.
feelings is a project from musician Reuben Ishrahm, originally from Ōtautahi, Aotearoa - now based in Melbourne/Naarm. Writing, performing and producing all his own music and visuals, feelings is an expression of emotion and healing through song. Years of writing country and americana music meld with the big city electronic and indie to carry heart-on-his-sleeve lyrics straight to the core. Hopefully, feelings does what it says on the tin - makes you feel.
Previously fronting Sydney band Coconut Cream, Astari is the solo project of singer-songwriter Astari Mudana. Drawing from personal moments and everyday experiences, Astari writes intimate, reflective songs rooted in observation and emotional honesty, creating music that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Jac is a Naarm/Melbourne based artist writing songs to express delicate feelings. Jac’s songs speak about change, sentiment and social anxiety with honest melodies and acoustic guitar.
Social Sanctuary is proud to be sponsored by Mountain Goat.
Our show is being held on the lands of the Wurundjeri People and we wish to acknowledge them as the Traditional Owners of this land we are gathered on. We also pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities that may join us for our show.
