Icecream Hands (Xmas Show)

It's time to deck the halls and crack out the advent calendar! That’s right folks, the annual Icecream Hands Christmas Show is returning to Northcote Social Club on Saturday 19 December. 

Formed in Melbourne in 1992, Icecream Hands are one of Australia’s most iconic power pop bands. With eight albums under their belt, along with two ARIA nominations for their 1999 hit Sweeter Than The Radio - they’ve built a loyal following on the back of masterful songwriting, melodic brilliance and impeccable guitar riffs. Their 2025 full-length album, Giant Fox Pineapple Tree, debuted in the ARIA Australian Top 20 Albums, delivering a masterclass in harmony-drenched, guitar-driven pop at its finest. 

The band are celebrating another big year in 2026, with their Pineapple Pieces EP landing at #1 on the AIR Independent Singles Chart. 

The Icecream Hands Christmas show has become a music highlight of the silly season in recent years. It wouldn't be a proper Christmas without a big night of hooks, harmonies and the trademark Icecream Hands charm that keeps fans coming back for more.
