On 24 June 2026, Venezuela was struck by two massive earthquakes within 39 seconds of each other — a 7.2 and a 7.5 magnitude doublet, the strongest to hit the country in over a century.
The damage is devastating. Over 2,000 people have lost their lives. More than 11,000 are injured. Nearly 60,000 buildings have been damaged or destroyed. And tens of thousands of people are still missing — families searching through rubble with their bare hands, hoping to find someone they love.
In La Guaira, Caracas, and beyond, entire communities have been left without food, clean water, shelter, or access to healthcare. The people of Venezuela were already facing one of the most difficult periods in their history. This earthquake has pushed them to the edge.
We are Venezuelan and Latin artists based in Melbourne. We are far away — but we refuse to stay silent.
Stand With Venezuela is a benefit concert bringing our community together through music to raise funds for those who need it most. Every dollar raised goes directly to Caritas Australia's earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela.
