Anna Smyrk launches her stunning debut album, Spectacular Denial, with a full band show.

With songs ranging from heartbreakingly vulnerable folk ballads to 90s grunge bangers, this show will take you right into your feels and back again.

The album, produced by Anna Laverty (Courtney Barnett, Nick Cave) was written after Anna’s dad passed away unexpectedly and it deals with denial in many guises: denial of how you really feel, denial after losing a loved one, denial about the future. The songs move effortlessly between moments of darkness and light, humour and pain, resilience and hope.

Anna has a range of accolades under her belt, including performing at SXSW, Woodford, Port Fairy and many other festivals around the world. The last few months have seen her living in her campervan, touring scores of community gardens around the country, bringing people together to connect music, nature and community. Don’t miss this rare band show before Anna heads overseas for tours in the USA, UK and Europe.

Singer-songwriter Georgia Fields conjures a mesmerising spell of art-pop alchemy in her dynamic live show. The sonic shapeshifter blends electric guitar and mini-synth with live-looped percussion, beatboxing, samples, and vocal harmonies to create complex arrangements in real time. As Frankie Magazine says: “she paints entire worlds with her tunes”.

Kit Genesis is a Naarm/Melbourne-based alt-indie artist whose music explores the depths of self-love, queer identity, and the intricacies of modern romance. Their debut EP, ‘Romanticism’, unveiled in late 2024, is a tapestry of intimate stories. Each track is shaped by Kit’s journey of self-discovery, with songs like ‘Pride’ and ‘Explode at the Thought’ capturing the vulnerability and thrill of embracing one’s truth.
