This week Amalia, Grace Robinson + Ashleigh Faith are stopping by for a show.

At only 22 years old, Amalia is already making a name for herself on the Melbourne music scene. Influenced by Stevie Nicks and Lana Del Rey, her storytelling ability takes listeners on a journey through everyday emotions with vintage nostalgia through her unique spin on indie-rock. Following the release of her debut single ‘Electric Rush’ and two sold out shows in her hometown of Melbourne, singer and songwriter Amalia has just released her second single, ‘Silly Cliche’. Elegantly stepping into a swirling, rose-coloured world that blends sounds of the past and present, ‘Silly Cliche’ is a slow burning celebration of experiencing love for the first time. With each chorus, the song wrestles to contain its emotions, eventually spilling out into a powerfully cathartic experience, perfectly captured by Amalia’s stirring vocals. “Musically, ‘Silly Cliche’ whisks you back to the 70s, blending swirling psychedelia with modern pop allure,” says Amalia. “It's a song about the overwhelming feelings of the early stages of a relationship and the hope the feeling never fades.” Inspired by icons like Kate Bush, Olivia Rodrigo and Lana Del Rey, ‘Silly Cliche’ fearlessly fuses sounds of the past and present and has already become a highlight of Amalia’s live sets. The song’s intricate attention to detail not only offers yet another exciting taste of her rapidly growing catalogue, but further solidifies that 2024 is going to be a truly exciting year for Amalia.

Grace Robinson, recognized around Melbourne as one of the three singers in the electro-soul supergroup Empress, is returning to her singer-songwriter roots with her latest work. Her new songs highlight her extraordinary vocal agility and profound storytelling, accompanied by her iconic mint-colored Danelectro guitar. Joined by her band of Naarm superplayers, her sound is epic indie rock anthems with hints of folk and soul. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of musical influences, including Sharon Van Etten, Phoebe Bridgers, and Joni Mitchell, as well as local talents like Julia Jacklin and Angie McMahon, Grace effortlessly weaves honest and vulnerable narratives into her music alongside a few self deprecating gags. Her goal is to have you walking away feeling like you know her, whether you wanted to or not.

Ashleigh Carr-White is a singer-songwriter from Perth, WA that has recently settled in Naarm! Formerly fronting indie-pop band, ‘Dulcie’ she has spent the last 6 years immersing herself in the Australian music scene, playing festivals like GTM, Laneway, Spilt Milk and shows with artists such as Ocean Alley, G-Flip, King Stingray, Amy Shark and Spacey Jane. She’s excited to reinvent herself through the start of a new solo project, drawing inspiration from artists like Maggie Rogers, Lizzie McAlpine and Phoebe bridges. You can expect raw, piano based story telling packaged up by authentic indie pop melodies.
