Known for his seminal post - punk bands, Nocturnal Projections and This Kind of Punishment, as well as his equally influential solo albums and involvement in Xpressway Records, Peter Jefferies has been one of the pioneers of the New Zealand underground music community since the early 1980's.

His upcoming show at Northcote Social Club, on January 23rd, 2027 is his first appearance in Australia for more than two decades, and is in support of his first full-length solo album in 25 years.

Jefferies' show will be split into two sections. A solo set on piano, followed by an electric set that will include drummer Heath Te Au.

The material will draw on Jefferies extensive back catalogue, but will also include material from the new album - The Day They Let You Out Is The Day They Might Not Let You Come Back.
