THIS SHOW IS STRICTLY 18+
Tamara Murphy and The Golden Tone Retrievers’ launch their debut album October 2024
Remind Me Not to Forget is the debut full-length album from Tamara Murphy as a lead vocalist, featuring her beautiful band, The Golden Tone Retrievers.
This lush album flips between genres, from introspective dream-pop worlds to extroverted 80s-rock anthems, glimpses of electronica and folk music textures, intricately detailed soundscapes and moments of chaos, all held together with strong melodic themes.
As a bassist she is well-known, performing with the likes of Kate Miller-Heidke, Ali McGregor, Frente!, Harry Angus, Nat Bartsch, Tracey Miller, Shane Reilly and Paul Grabowsky amongst many others. She now steps from the back to the front of the stage to sing and lead this stellar new band.
So far this year, they have released two singles – Drift Away and Brian to critical acclaim. The full album is finally available this October.
To celebrate the release, they will be playing a matinee show at the Northcote Social Club on October 27, joined by The Remotes.
Northcote Social Club strives to create a safe space that everyone can enjoy.
Crowd surfing & dangerous behaviour will result in removal from the venue.
