dogworld
dogworld strikes a mercurial sound balancing heavy post-punk, alt-country, and jazz sonics with strong melodic intuition. The four-piece have made waves in Canberra since forming in 2021, with their trademark raw, energetic performance style. Now based in Melbourne, dogworld are quickly becoming a vital act to watch in 2024 – bringing forth the release of their debut EP ‘RANGE’ August 9th. Support for national acts: DZ Deathrays, Armlock, King Stingray, Shady Nasty, dust, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Slowly Slowly and Alex Lahey. As well as showcasing at Sydney’s 2024 SXSW Music Conference. dogworld performances prove captivating and urgent. An essential booking for festivals, agents and artists who want to push creative boundaries and sonic uniquity.
Hydra Fashion Week
Hydra Fashion Week collectively make a sound known as "Jazzy- Hyper-Punk". The collective have a built a strong reputation for themselves with their "indescribable and unbelievable" (themusic.com.au) live shows and unique sound with Abby Butler (Triple J Unearthed) writing "HFW is up there as one of the most exciting live acts in the Melb live scene." The project, fronted by Charlie Teitelbaum/Hydras Heads (founding member of electronic-pop act Huntly), finds connections between no- wave, jazz, punk and progressive pop music you didn't want to exist. Their electric live chemistry combines the thrilling and chaotic natures of improvised music and thoughtful songwriting. It is this combination that has earned them support slots on national tours for the likes of Full Flower Moon Band, Party Dozen & Cry Club.
Public Figures
A passion project birthed by Evie Vlah and Gene Argiro has arrived with hard hitting power-punk anthems to kick off any room they enter. Inspired by the chaos that life throws at you daily, ‘Public Figures’ are here now and 4eva.
This event is proudly supported by CUB and the Liv Loud series.
Northcote Social Club strives to create a safe space that everyone can enjoy.
Crowd surfing & dangerous behaviour will result in removal from the venue.
