Kick those Monday blues to the curb at Social Sanctuary – your weekly night of free live music at NSC. We've lined up a stellar roster of your fave local artists and some exciting new talents breezing through town!
This week Boggle, NoTurns and Krachym are stopping by for a show.
Boggle is what Boggle does. Baritone saxophone, Synth, Guitar, Drums. Weirdness, Wildness, Wilderness Light and Heavy, Dark and Steady, Controlled Chaos for the Senses. With their debut LP out as of November ’25, Boggle has been taking stages by storm, and contorting chaos into the most danceable, moshable tunes you’ve heard yet. Twisting from stompy party synth hooks to dramatic noise rock belters, sometimes within the same song, their sound is a unique one. With Rosie playing synth and guitar at the same time and pounding drums with beautiful flourish from Toby - underpinning Annas dramatic, energetic baritone saxophone playing, their stage show is not to be missed. It will subvert and exceed all expectations, and take you by surprise. Their on stage presence is a joyous one, a release of energy that could only be directed by 3 friends doing the thing they love most together. Nothing gets boggle going more than making a whole room of people dance.
NoTurns is a 5 piece eclectic indie rock outfit based in Naarm, known for their energetic and earnest live shows.
Krachym creates an Experimental Noise Pop Symphony with some synthesizers and a wireless Midi Guitar. The Leipzig (Germany) based basement crooner’s influences varies from 80s japanese electronics over psych pop and rock music which get interrupted by spontaneous actions and improvisations resulting in ambient moments or an overall diy punk spirit. Influenced by acts like Animal Collective, David Bowie, LCD Soundsystem, Yapoos, Envy and various other stuff.
Social Sanctuary is proud to be sponsored by Mountain Goat.
Our show is being held on the lands of the Wurundjeri People and we wish to acknowledge them as the Traditional Owners of this land we are gathered on. We also pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities that may join us for our show.
THIS SHOW IS STRICTLY 18+
Northcote Social Club strives to create a safe space that everyone can enjoy.
Crowd surfing & dangerous behaviour will result in removal from the venue.
