Cosmic funk groovers “Jerry” are celebrating the release of their debut album “The Lodge” with a launch show & all-star cast at the pub of all pubs, the Northcote Social Club. An excursion through funk, jazz, dance, and cosmic sounds with most tracks written at Jerry’s birthplace, a Lodge in an unassuming suburb of Melbourne. Jerry’s unmistakably electric live performance drifts between super deep and super funky, with an intention to make you move. Their headline shows are commonly associated with a lot of dancing, a lot of drinking, and a lot of laughing. From playing 12 weeks straight at Wax Music Lounge to selling out the Curtin, Gaso & Night Cat, this show is their final boss and they're preparing for a serious funk baptism. Alongside them are some very special guests - Orange Moon, a 10 piece concoction of creatives & movers with a stage presence like no other to engage the senses. Said by one punter after a recent Orange Moon show “Can confirm you’ll have to carry your ass home after shaking it so much” Plus we’ve got The Payback, a brand new group of some of the funkiest cats around the block blending versions of boppers by Kool & the Gang, James Brown and other lords, woven together by one of the tightest drummers and tastiest guitarists you’ll hear.
